Lesson 45: How to format your body copy to improve readership and conversions

You can be somewhat flexible with how you set other parts of your text, but your body copy should always be as readable as possible. Making your selling content difficult to read is like mumbling to Sam. And making him read more than one column of it at a time is like having more than one person speaking to him at a time. You might as well turn him away at the door.
In this lesson you will find four principles to help you avoid doing that.
These principles are dependent on what tools you are using to create your web pages. Some tools let you change some or all of the text settings for your page; some don’t. If yours don’t, and the defaults violate these principles, it is worth considering something else.
